GRADE 2 formed at just 14 and 15 years old, spending school lunch breaks covering punk classics in the music room. They soon began writing their own songs and playing local pubs, leading to a deal with Contra Records in 2014 and their first tours across Europe.
Due to their young age, they were cheekily dubbed “Oi! The New Generation” – and they truly brought fresh energy to the scene. Their debut album Mainstream View, originally released only in Germany, marked a major step forward with more mature songwriting and the standout single “All I Know.” With this release, they firmly put the Isle of Wight on the punk rock map.
